The Poets@KSP are a poetry group from The Katharine Susannah Prichard Writers Centre in Greenmount, Western Australia, who meet regularly to discuss, critique and write poetry. The Poets at KSP hold workshops, book launches and 'Meet the Poet' sessions with guest poets and writers-in-residence. The group publishes an annual anthology. Poets Online is an offshoot of the Poets at KSP.

POEM OF THE WEEK

Lying on the ground, looking upwards

the mandela’s coloured marble dust

recedes with time, newly-revealed foundations

broken to pieces, handed round

closeted, unworn, the blue and white

lazy mornings wander avenues of trees

into cinema’s warm dark

adventure, risk, his wildest dream

here today, held precious.
